We collect personal information, where provided, to enable us to fulfil enquiries and provide services to our clients.

How we use your information

We use your information to keep in touch with clients and respond to requests received. Our lawful basis for processing is 'Contract' - to fulfil our obligations to clients or to provide information and services to respond to a request.

How your information is stored

Personal information is stored in a number of systems depending on the services taken including:

  • Our email system
  • Domain ownership records
  • Customer hosting control panel
  • Financial accounting system
  • Electronic payment system
  • Content management system

We carefully select the providers that we work with to ensure they have strong data policies in place and meet the requirements of GDPR.

How long your personal data will be kept

We keep a long term record of email communications to be able to best facilitate customer enquiries. Client information is held for the period they are a customer. This information is kept in our email broadcast software and customer control panel for at least 2 years once they terminate our service. We hold the information in our accounting software for at least 6 years after the client has stopped using our service.

Electronic payments are handled directly by our payment merchants and we do not store your payment data. This information is stored as per the payment processing merchants' policy.

Who do we share your personal information with

We don't sell on or freely share any personal information. When providing some services we are required to provide your personal details - for example, when registering a domain name. We do this in accordance with our GDPR policy and terms and conditions.

Keeping your personal information safe

We are committed to keeping your information secure and have security measures in place to ensure personal information is not accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way.

We have a data breach procedure and will inform you and the regulator as required in such a situation.

Your rights

GDPR legislation gives you a number of rights regarding your personal information which you can access at no cost:

We will always aim to comply with your request unless there is a legitimate reason for us to use your information or comply with lawful obligations.

Statistical information and cookies

In common with many commercial organisations we monitor the use of this website by collecting statistical user information. Whilst we log IP addresses, we don't tie this back to individual users information. Typically, we collect information about the number of visitors to the website, to each web page, the technology used to browse the internet and the domain from which the vistor originated. This information is used to understand the visitor's use of the website.
